Prime Minister Narendra Modi is starting an 11-day ritual called 'Anushthan' in Panchvati before the 'Pran Pratishtha' of Lord Ram in Ayodhya. Panchvati is where Lord Ram spent a significant part of his exile. The 'Pran Pratishtha' is a detailed process in which the idol of a deity is consecrated, and specific rules must be followed for several days before the ceremony.
As a devoted follower of Lord Ram, the prime minister is committed to the construction and consecration of the Ram Temple as a spiritual practice. Despite his busy schedule, he has decided to adhere strictly to all the rules and rituals outlined in the scriptures leading up to January 22.
The ritual involves 'Dev Pratishtha,' infusing divine consciousness into the earthly idol, and follows rules like fasting before the ceremony. The prime minister, known for his daily routine of Brahmamuhurta Jagran, Sadhana, and Satvik diet, has now extended this as a ritual for the entire 11 days.
In an audio message, PM Modi expressed his emotional connection to the event, stating that he feels blessed to represent all Indians during the 'Pran Pratishtha.' He seeks the blessings of the people for this special religious exercise.
During his visit to Shree Kala Ram Mandir in Nashik's Panchvati, he emphasized that all 140 crore Indians and Ram Bhakts will be spiritually present with him in the Garbha Griha.
Panchvati holds significance in the Ramayana, being the place where important events from the epic occurred. Lord Ram, Sita, and Lakshman spent time in the Dandakaranya forest in Panchvati, marked by five banyan trees. The prime minister will lead the consecration ceremony of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22, with preparations underway for the event, hosting several VVIP guests from India and abroad.
