Live Updates on Ram Mandir Opening Ceremony: The seven-day rituals for the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony at Ram Mandir in Ayodhya are in progress. Today, on Wednesday, January 17, the idol of Ram Lalla will be brought inside the temple structure, a day before it is placed in the sanctum sanctorum on January 18. The main inaugural ceremony of the grand temple is scheduled between 12:15 pm and 12:45 pm on January 22, with the preparatory rituals starting from January 16.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead the consecration ceremony of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat will also be present, along with other dignitaries.

The temple trust has invited over 7,000 people, including cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, and industrialists Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani.

Ram Mandir's dimensions in Ayodhya are 380 feet in length (east-west direction), 250 feet in width, and 161 feet in height.

The estimated cost of constructing the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya is around Rs 1,800 crore.
