Anushka Sharma is a very good actress in Bollywood. She started acting in 2008 with a movie called "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi," where she acted alongside Shah Rukh Khan. After that, she acted in many hit movies like "Band Baaja Baraat," "Dil Dhadakne Do," and "Sultan." She once mentioned that Kareena Kapoor Khan inspired her to become an actress.
In an older interview with Rajeev Masand, Anushka said, "The first time I thought about being an actress was after I watched 'Jab We Met.' So, for me, it was all about having a great experience when working with someone. I told Imtiaz Ali, 'If I'm going to do a film with you, it has to be a film like that.' He's the one who made me believe that acting is interesting. When I saw Geet, played by Kareena in the film, I thought, 'This is nice, maybe I can do this.'"
Anushka talked about this when she was promoting the movie "Jab Harry Met Sejal," which was led by Shah Rukh Khan and directed by Imtiaz Ali. "Jab We Met," directed by Imtiaz Ali, is still loved by people of all ages and is considered a classic. The film starred Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the main roles and is one of the most talked-about movies in their careers.
Despite the film's enduring popularity, Imtiaz Ali, in a recent interview, confessed that he felt embarrassed about the movie. He said, "I knew there was something good about it even then, but I was always embarrassed about the story. Because it is a film about nothing in terms of plot. What is it? How do I sell or pitch it? I didn't know if it was worth pursuing. Also, it is a highly rejected film, in terms of acting, producing, and so on."
