Recently, a heartwarming moment was shared on BCCI's Twitter. In the video, a little girl gifted Kohli a handmade bracelet, which he gladly accepted, bringing joy to the young fan.
As the Indian team warmed up at the Kensington Oval in Barbados, fans were taking pictures. Kohli walked up to them near the boundary and was pleasantly surprised by the little girl's gift. She enthusiastically said, "I made a bracelet for you," and Kohli responded with gratitude, calling it beautiful.
The girl's father revealed that their entire family came to watch the match, and he thanked Kohli for his kind gesture and praised his down-to-earth personality. Kohli also took selfies with the family.
During the tour, Kohli has performed well, scoring a solid 76 in Dominica and a century in the second match, which was his first away Test century since December 2018, and it marked his 500th international match.
Kohli is currently part of the ongoing ODI series, which is tied at one-all. So far, he hasn't had a chance to bat in the series, as India comfortably chased down a small target in the first game, and he was rested for the second fixture.
