The victims were a father and his son who were selling books at a roadside stall when the accident happened. Locals reported that the car was speeding at approximately 110 kmph and seemed to be driven by drunk individuals.

Earlier in the year, a similar tragic incident occurred in Hyderabad, where a speeding car hit morning walkers, resulting in the death of two women and injuries to another.
In yet another unfortunate event near Delhi's Moti Nagar, a 36-year-old man named Ajay Gupta was fatally struck by a speeding BMW car while he was out buying medicines. The driver responsible for this accident, a 28-year-old woman, was arrested and later released on bail. She is an architect from Ashok Vihar and was allegedly returning from a party in Greater Kailash when the collision occurred. The car first hit a generator and then ran over Ajay Gupta.
Currently, an investigation is ongoing to locate the remaining two suspects involved in the Bengaluru accident.
