Successful Bihar Job Fair: 62 Candidates Shortlisted

Unemployment is a common issue discussed nowadays. Many educated young people are looking for job opportunities in the private sector. To address this problem, an employment fair was recently held in Bihar, providing employment options for educated youth.
Durvasa Ayurveda Limited offered positions such as Medical Representative (MR) and Area Sales Manager (ASM) to young candidates ranging from matriculate to graduate levels. The fair took place at the Begusarai district planning office in Bihar, and it exceeded expectations by shortlisting more candidates than originally planned.
Although the company aimed to select 50 unemployed individuals, 62 candidates were shortlisted during the job fair. This unexpected situation posed challenges for both the candidates and the fair organizers. Shweta Vashisht, the District Planning Officer, mentioned that the initial plan was to provide on-the-spot appointment letters to 50 deserving candidates based on their interview performance. However, the number of individuals who cleared the interview conducted by Shadab Afridi, the representative of Durvasa Ayurved Private Limited, was 67.
As a result, the company requested two additional days to carefully assess and finalize the selection process. The appointment letters will be issued to the intended 50 candidates only after a thorough examination. Consequently, the distribution of on-the-spot appointment letters had to be postponed due to this unforeseen circumstance.
Usually, job fairs at the District Planning Office witness a considerable number of vacant seats. However, during this recent event, 201 candidates appeared for interviews for the available 50 positions. It remains to be seen whether the 62 shortlisted candidates will receive the appointment letters or if the originally planned 50 candidates will be the only ones selected.
The District Planning Officer informed that JSA Rahul Kumar, YP Pankaj Kumar, and DSE Kundan Kumar were present at the planning office from 11 am to 4 pm to guide the unemployed youth of the district about employment opportunities.
