Max Verstappen, the current champion of Formula One, continued his impressive run by winning the Austrian Grand Prix 2023. This victory further strengthened his pursuit of a third consecutive world title. Starting from the first position for the fourth race in a row, Verstappen showcased his dominance by achieving his fifth consecutive win and seventh win out of nine races in the ongoing season.
With this outstanding performance, Verstappen increased his lead in the championship standings to 81 points over his teammate Sergio Perez, who also races for the Red Bull team. Charles Leclerc, last year's winner at this track, came in second place, finishing 5.2 seconds behind Verstappen. Meanwhile, Sergio Perez secured the third position, crossing the finish line 17.2 seconds after the leader.
