In Ayodhya, a new statue of Ram Lalla, carved in black stone with a golden bow and arrow, was revealed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This unveiling took place after the Pran Pratishtha rituals, during which PM Modi performed a puja and even applied kajal to Ram Lalla.

PM Modi led the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the newly-built Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya. He arrived in Ayodhya earlier in the day to participate in this auspicious ceremony.

The newly installed idols of Lord Ram and Ram Lalla Virajman are now placed together at Ayodhya Ram Mandir.

Expressing his emotions, PM Modi tweeted, "The divine moment of Pran Prathishta of Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya Dham is an emotional moment for everyone. It is my good fortune to be part of this unique programme. Jai Siyaram."

During the ceremony, PM Modi was joined by RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, and State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at the temple's sanctum sanctorum.

The grand temple ceremony, attended by over 8,000 guests from various spiritual and religious sects across the country, featured the historic Pran Pratishtha ceremony.

The majestic Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir, crafted in the traditional Nagara style, stands at 380 feet in length (east-west), 250 feet in width, and a towering height of 161 feet. It is supported by 392 pillars, features 44 doors, and showcases intricate sculpted depictions of Hindu deities.

In the primary sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor, the idol of Shri Ramlalla, representing the childhood form of Bhagwan Shri Ram, has been reverently placed. Accessible through the eastern side, the main entrance can be reached by ascending 32 stairs through the Singh Dwar. The Mandir encompasses five halls, including Nritya Mandap, Rang Mandap, Sabha Mandap, Prathana Mandap, and Kirtan Mandap.

Adjacent to the Mandir, a historic well known as Sita koop, dating back to ancient times, is situated. In the southwestern part of the Mandir complex, at Kuber Tila, the ancient Mandir of Bhagwan Shiv has been meticulously restored, featuring the installation of a statue of Jatayu.
