Details on Tata Avinya EV with JLR's EMA Electric Platform

Tata, a well-known car manufacturer, plans to release the eagerly awaited Avinya in India around 2025. Many details about its design and specifications were already revealed at AutoExpo 2023. In recent news, the company has officially confirmed that the Avinya electric vehicle (EV) will utilize Jaguar Land Rover's (JLR) Electrified Modular Architecture (EMA) platform.

The Tata Avinya and JLR's Platform Tata has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with JLR, allowing them to use JLR's platform for their electric vehicles. This platform will also be used in the next-generation Range Rover Velar, Discovery Sport, and Evoque.
