Noida's January 22 Diwali Prep: Societal Pran Pratishtha Readiness

Noida, an important economic center in Uttar Pradesh with over 820,000 residents across 250 housing societies, is gearing up for the consecration of Lord Ram’s idol, known as Pran Pratistha. In response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call to "celebrate Deepawali" on January 22, each society is making elaborate preparations to outshine one another.

Amrapali Zodiac Society in Noida’s Sector 120 has organized a two-day event starting at 12 pm on January 21 with the continuous recitation of Ram Charitmanas, followed by a grand Havan and Maha Aarti. AOA president Gaurav Asati mentioned that they are decorating the temple for the main event and expect around 1,000-1,500 residents to participate, lighting about 1,000 diyas to mark the occasion.

Supertech Capetown, one of Noida's largest societies, has also planned a similar event on January 22 at 6 pm, urging families to bring five diyas. Meanwhile, Jaypee Wish Town residents are organizing the ‘Shri Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav’ at their sports arena, featuring a Shobha Yatra, diyas lighting, and Aarti, with giant screens live-streaming the 'Pran Pratishtha' from Ayodhya.

Other societies, like ATS One Hamlet, are also setting up giant screens for the event, contributing to the festive atmosphere. Additionally, RSS and VHP workers are inviting families to visit the Ram Temple after the consecration ceremony, providing sacred rice (Akshat) along with an invitation card.

This is just a glimpse of the extensive celebrations happening in Noida's numerous housing societies around January 22, as the residents eagerly participate in the festive spirit.
