Ford a long time, Nickelodeon has been entertaining millions of children across the country with unique and engaging experiences. In an effort to promote yoga as a daily routine for kids, Nickelodeon has once again partnered with the Ayush Ministry. They aim to educate and inspire young minds about the benefits of yoga through their campaign called "#YogaSeHiHoga," which marks the fourth consecutive year of collaboration.
As part of this campaign, popular Nickelodeon characters such as Motu-Patlu, Rudra, and Abhimanyu participated in the biggest yoga event in Jabalpur, along with the Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and other dignitaries, to commemorate International Yoga Day. They performed yoga asanas and made the practice fun and engaging for the kids present at the event, which had around 150,000 attendees.
The event also featured a special video message from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing the importance and values of practicing yoga. The presence of the Nicktoons not only spread joy but also promoted mindfulness and self-awareness among the participants. Smt. Kavita Garg, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of AYUSH, expressed her delight in partnering with Nickelodeon for the fourth year and praised their initiative for introducing yoga to children's lives.
Nicktoons have been actively advocating for a healthy mind and body among children through initiatives like #YogaSeHiHoga. In 2019, they celebrated International Yoga Day by performing yoga with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and 40,000 people at Prabhat Tara ground in Ranchi. They also collaborated with Mumbai's "Yoga by the Bay" event.
Nickelodeon has been celebrating Yoga Day virtually in partnership with the AYUSH Ministry, aiming to cultivate yoga habits and highlight the importance of a healthier immune system. They promoted the digital partnership through interactive posts and videos, followed by a nationwide contest that reached over 630,000 mothers and kids through digital platforms. The contest received more than 3,000 entries on the brand platform.
