IIT-Delhi Student's Hostel Suicide: Police

According to the police, a 20-year-old student studying B.Tech at IIT Delhi was found dead in his hostel room. They believe that he took his own life by hanging himself. The student's name was Ayush Ashna, and he had recently taken his final-year exams.

The police did not find a suicide note, but they do not suspect any foul play in the incident. They received a call at the Kishangarh police station, which is responsible for southwest Delhi, and immediately went to the hostel.

When they arrived, they found the room locked from the inside. The police opened the room in front of the student's family. A senior police officer stated that the student had used a nylon rope to hang himself in his room at the Udaigiri Hostel.

The crime investigation team was called to the scene, but they did not discover anything suspicious. The inquest proceedings are currently underway.
