Andhra CM Jagan Launches Mega Housing Programme in Amaravati's R5 Zone

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy inaugurated a big housing project called Navaratnalu Pedalandariki Illu in Amaravati's Krishnayapalem. The project aims to provide affordable houses to 50,793 people and includes 45 social infrastructure projects, costing Rs 1,829.57 crore in the R5 Zone of Amaravati.

During the event, the CM emphasized the importance of these houses for achieving social justice, especially for the economically weaker sections. He stated that this initiative is a victory for the poor and marks a special day for the state.

The government's decision to provide housing opportunities for the underprivileged came after winning legal battles in the High Court and Supreme Court against the opposition's attempts to block the distribution of house sites.

The construction of the houses is expected to be completed by Sankranti 2024, benefiting thousands of people from economically challenged backgrounds in Guntur and NTR districts.

In conclusion, CM Jagan Mohan Reddy highlighted that Amaravati will now be a city for everyone, regardless of their background or economic status, offering a more equitable future for its residents.
