Fans are eagerly waiting for updates on the movie's release. While there was anticipation for a significant announcement on July 30, Venkat instead revealed another project he's producing. Disappointed fans expressed their feelings, and Venkat assured them that updates about "Thalapathy 68" will be shared on social media soon.
Earlier, at an event for the film "Regina," Venkat avoided giving details about "Thalapathy 68," stating that they can only reveal information after another film called "Leo" is released. The only update so far is a teaser clip tweeted by Thalapathy Vijay, hinting at the film's production house and director's name.
As of now, there are no storyline updates, but fans expect the film to explore a new genre, possibly an edge-of-the-seat thriller drama. There are also rumors of talks with actress Srinidhi Shetty for the female lead, but nothing has been confirmed officially yet.
