Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, who had kept their relationship private for a while, got married in December 2021 after dating for two years. They had a big wedding in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, with close family and a few friends from the film industry.
Vicky Kaushal revealed on Karan Johar's show, Koffee With Karan 8, that his proposal to Katrina was simple. He proposed just a day before their wedding during a dinner in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, where they later had their wedding.
Vicky mentioned, "I had been warned that if I didn't propose, I'd hear about it forever. So, I did it a day before the wedding. It was a dinner before any friends or family arrived."
On the show, Vicky also shared that due to COVID, he met Katrina's mother and siblings only a week before the wedding. They had a fun party at his place where everyone was dancing and enjoying themselves.
Their story began on Koffee with Karan when Katrina Kaif expressed her admiration for Vicky's work and joked about working together in a film. Vicky humorously pretended to faint upon hearing this from Karan Johar.
