Tamannaah Bhatia Discusses Wedding Plans and Relationship with Vijay Varma

Tamannaah Bhatia recently discussed her views on marriage during an interview. She mentioned that marriage is a significant commitment and should only be entered into when one is truly prepared for it, knowing the responsibilities it entails.

In a conversation with India Today, Tamannaah, who is 33 years old, revealed that when she started her career 18 years ago, she believed it would only last for about eight to ten years. At that time, she imagined herself getting married and having two children by the age of 30. However, life turned out differently, and she now feels like she has been given a second chance at life.

"When I started working years ago, it was commonly believed that an actress's career spanned only 8-10 years. So, I made plans based on that, thinking that by the age of 30, I would have finished working, gotten married, and had two kids. I hadn't really thought about anything beyond 30. But when I actually turned 30, I realized that it was like a new birth for me. It felt like a complete transformation, like being a brand new baby," she explained.

Tamannaah further added, "Today, we have the freedom to make choices and those choices define how we feel. Unlike the previous generation, we are not bound by certain timelines or societal expectations. Apart from biological factors, there is nothing truly stopping women. So, I suddenly discovered that my previous ideas were influenced by people around me, and they weren't truly my own. I only found my true desires when I turned 30."

Regarding marriage, Tamannaah expressed her belief that one should get married when they genuinely want to. She emphasized that marriage is not just a celebration but a significant responsibility. It requires effort, similar to taking care of a plant, having a dog, or raising children. Therefore, one should only take on such responsibilities when they are fully prepared, rather than feeling pressured by societal expectations or the notion of "everyone else is doing it."

On the professional front, Tamannaah recently made her debut in the web series space with the newly released show called Jee Karda. While she received positive reviews for her performance, she also faced controversy due to the inclusion of intimate scenes in the series.

As for Vijay Varma, who is rumored to be dating Tamannaah, he finally addressed their relationship, stating that there is a lot of love in his life. Additionally, Tamannaah broke her 18-year-old policy of not doing on-screen kisses for her co-star Vijay Varma, clarifying that her intention was not to gain fame but to explore different aspects of her craft.
