Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani's Reunion Post 'Shershaah' National Award Win

Actor Sidharth Malhotra is currently celebrating the National Award that his movie "Shershaah" received earlier this week. The film was given a Special Jury Award at a ceremony held in the national capital on Tuesday, October 17. Even though Sidharth didn't attend the event, he went on social media to thank his fans. He also mentioned that the character he played in the film is his favorite ever and hinted at working with Kiara again.

Sidharth used the microblogging site X (formerly known as Twitter) for an #AskSid session, where his fans asked him questions about his work and personal life. One fan asked, "What's your favorite character you've ever played? @SidMalhotra #asksid." Sidharth replied, "Capt. Vikram Batra."

"Shershaah" is a movie based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra, a soldier who lost his life during the Kargil War after making significant contributions to India's victory in the conflict. The film not only focused on Vikram's military career but also portrayed his real-life romance with Dimple Cheema, a character played by Kiara Advani. Interestingly, this film marked the first collaboration of Kiara and Sidharth in cinema, and their relationship blossomed during the shooting. They later got married on February 7, 2023. Fans are eagerly awaiting their next project together.
