Saif Ali Khan is in the hospital because he hurt his knee. He was taken to Mumbai's Kokilaben Hospital on January 22. It seems like he might need surgery for his knee. Saif's team has not said anything about it yet.
Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif's wife, is with him at the hospital. They got married in October 2012. Before Kareena, Saif was married to Amrita Singh, and they have two children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan. They separated in 2004.
On a talk show last month, Saif talked about how Kareena has influenced him. He praised her for helping him with time management, health, exercise, routine, discipline, and patience.
Before Saif got married to Kareena, he didn't tell his mother, Sharmila Tagore, about marrying Amrita. When he finally told her, she was upset and hurt. Sharmila met Amrita later and liked her, even though she was surprised by the situation.
