Ola, a leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer, is gearing up to launch a new electric bike in India on August 15. The CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal, shared a teaser on Twitter, announcing the upcoming bike. The event, called "End ICE Age Part 1," will take place at the company's FutureFactory in Tamil Nadu, a large manufacturing plant spanning 500 acres with the capacity to produce one crore two-wheelers annually.
The price of the upcoming electric bike is expected to start above Rs 2.50 lakh, but specific details have not been revealed yet. It is rumored that the bike will have a range of around 300 to 350 kilometers and will offer good performance without being too expensive. It could be a practical choice for daily local commuting.
To support electric vehicle riders across the country, Ola has established around 750 Experience Centers nationwide. These centers not only offer vehicle service facilities but also provide after-sale-service support for customers.
