Alia Bhatt Responds to Trolling About Her Marriage with Ranbir Kapoor: Speak Your Mind, Lies Unveiled

Since her debut in 2012, Alia Bhatt has had a successful career in Bollywood, starring in mostly hit films. She has shown her acting talent in a variety of roles, from movies like Highway and Gangubai Kathiawadi to Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and 2 States. However, due to her fame, she often faces criticism and trolling online, especially about her marriage to Ranbir Kapoor and her public appearances.

Recently, during an event at the Hindustan Times' summit, Alia talked about the online hate and indirectly responded to the trolls who have targeted her, especially in the past year. She was asked if the constant trolling about her personal life and public image bothers her.

Alia mentioned, "I think I've grown as a person, and I genuinely believe that I have no reason to complain. Considering my position and the privileges I have, it doesn't seem right for me to complain. Even though sometimes it's hurtful to read negative comments about me, my relationships, or my family, I won't engage in conflict with my audience. As long as my movies are doing well and I'm entertaining my fans, I'm grateful for their love. My audience is the reason for who I am today."

She went on to say, "It's crucial to differentiate between constructive criticism and relentless negativity. People can have personal dislikes, like not liking my appearance, and I can't change that. I choose to focus on the positive. I haven't faced a lot of direct trolling or negativity, and that's what I prefer to pay attention to. If there is any negative chatter, I hope it fades away as we move forward."

"I'm human, and I may say a few foolish things in public, and people may poke fun at that. I might also say many intelligent things, but negativity often spreads faster than positivity. I believe in the bigger picture, where love overcomes everything," Alia emphasized.

She continued, "It's not that negative comments don't affect me at all. There are moments of vulnerability, and I may feel regret at times. Consequently, I've become a more private person. However, I've never tried to silence anyone or said, 'Don't criticize me.' Even when completely false things are said, I've chosen not to respond because that's not the way I want to carry myself. I'm open to being vulnerable, kind, and accepting. You can say what you want, as long as you enjoy my movies," she concluded.
