On that day, two teams, Mohun Bagan Super Giants and Emami East Bengal, played at the Vivekananda Yuva Bharati Krirangan (Salt Lake Stadium). The Durand Cup is like a kickoff event for the Indian football season, and this year, 24 teams participated. The final match will happen on September 3, 2023.
After the game, Vicky shared his excitement on Instagram. He posted some photos and talked about how amazing it was to watch this historic match. He mentioned that the Durand Cup is the third oldest football tournament in the world and is organized by the Indian Army.
