Sedan Driver Drags Cop to Avoid Checking; Attempted Murder Case Filed

In many parts of the country, we often hear about traffic police officers facing road rage incidents. Recently, in Surat, Gujarat, a disturbing incident took place during a vehicle check. A police officer was pulled along on the front of a car for a distance of around 300 to 400 meters.
According to a report by India Today, this incident happened near the Alkapuri overbridge in the Katargam area and was captured on a surveillance camera.
The video shows a white Skoda car speeding away while a police officer is desperately hanging on to the car's hood. When the car hits a speed bump near a traffic circle, the officer falls off, and other police officers on duty start chasing the escaping vehicle.
Authorities have taken the injured officer to the hospital for medical treatment.
It has been reported that an attempted murder case has been filed against the car driver at the Katargam police station, and the car has been confiscated.
