Nine people lost their lives and more than 20 others were injured in a tragic incident in Maharashtra's Dhule district. On Tuesday, a truck lost control and collided with four vehicles and a dhaba (roadside eatery). The accident occurred around 10 am on the Mumbai-Agra highway near Palasner village, about 300 kilometers from Mumbai.
The truck's brakes failed, causing it to go out of control. It hit two motorcycles, a car, and another truck before crashing into a dhaba near a bus stop on the highway. The truck overturned during the collision, leading to casualties among people waiting at the bus stop.
The truck was en route to Dhule from Madhya Pradesh.
The injured individuals have been taken to hospitals, and the police are conducting an investigation into the accident to determine its cause.
