Kia Seltos Facelift to Include ADAS Safety Suite
The launch of the updated Kia Seltos facelift is just a few days away, and there have already been numerous spy images circulating on the internet. Kia recently released a teaser video showcasing the exterior and interior of the Seltos facelift, where it was confirmed that the new version will come equipped with an ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) safety suite.
From the official teaser, we can see a radar located below the front number plate, indicating the presence of the ADAS suite. The digital driver's display also suggests the availability of features such as lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control. Additionally, the facelifted Seltos may offer safety features like highway driving assist, forward collision assist, blind spot detection, and rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist. Internationally, the ADAS suite is already included as a standard feature in the Seltos facelift.
The teaser also provided a glimpse of the Seltos facelift's interior features. It revealed a new dashboard with a large dual-screen setup, a redesigned center console, and a spacious panoramic sunroof. The dual-screen setup will serve as both the infotainment screen and the digital driver display. The steering wheel remains the same as the outgoing model, featuring mounted controls, while the center console houses various buttons for air conditioning and music control.
The facelifted Kia Seltos is scheduled to be launched in India on July 4, 2023. Once available, it will compete with rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and Honda Elevate.
