Mahabharata actor Gajendra Chauhan strongly criticized the movie Adipurush and called for a ban on it. Adipurush, directed by Om Raut and featuring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan, has received backlash for its informal dialogues and alleged misrepresentation of characters from the Hindu epic Ramayana. Despite some controversial dialogues being changed after public outcry, Gajendra believes it won't make a difference as the damage has already been done. He expressed his surprise at the decisions made by the censor board and insisted that the entire film should be banned. Gajendra also accused Adipurush's dialogue writer, Manoj Muntashir, of being ignorant and not taking responsibility for his actions. Gajendra claimed that the dialogues were borrowed from social media videos of other writers, including one by Kumar Vishwas, and presented as Muntashir's own work. He criticized Muntashir's arrogance and emphasized that such behavior is unacceptable for any artist. Previously, Manoj Muntashir defended the controversial dialogues related to the character of Lord Hanuman by stating that Hanuman is not considered a God, but a devotee. This statement sparked anger among netizens.
