Actress Aashika Bhatia and popular YouTuber Elvish Yadav have recently joined the reality show Bigg Boss OTT 2 as wild card contestants. Previously, they appeared as guest judges for a captaincy task on the show. The show is available for streaming on JioCinema.
Aashika Bhatia, a 24-year-old TV actress from Surat, is well-known for her roles in Hindi serials such as "Meera" (2009) and "Parvarrish - Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi" (2011). She also played the role of Salman Khan's half-sister in the 2015 blockbuster film "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo." Aashika has a significant following on social media, with 6 million followers on Instagram alone.
Before entering the Bigg Boss house, Aashika posted a cryptic message on Instagram, indicating that her life is about to undergo significant changes and that she would be taking a break from social media.
Elvish Yadav, a 25-year-old YouTuber from Gurugram, started his journey as a content creator in 2016. He currently manages two channels: Elvish Yadav Vlogs, where he uploads daily videos, and Elvish Yadav, where he showcases his short films. Elvish has a combined audience of 15 million subscribers on his YouTube channels.
Similar to Aashika, Elvish also informed his audience about his entry into the Bigg Boss house through social media. He expressed his excitement about shaking up the system inside the house and requested his followers to support him.
During a captaincy task on the show, Aashika and Elvish served as judges. Manisha Rani emerged as the new captain after winning the task against Avinash Sachdev. The task involved giving funny captions to pictures of the other housemates in order to make them go viral. Avinash was disappointed by his loss and was seen sulking in the house afterward.
