Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married in November 2018. It's been more than five years since their marriage. They haven't had a baby yet, but Deepika expressed her desire to have kids with Ranveer someday. In a recent interview, she talked about wanting children and the values she hopes they will learn.
In an interview with Vogue Singapore, Deepika said, “Ranveer and I adore kids. We're excited about starting our own family someday.” She also mentioned her upbringing, saying, “When I meet my relatives and family friends, they always mention that I haven't changed at all. This shows a lot about how I was raised.”
“In the entertainment industry, it's easy to get carried away with fame and money. But at home, no one treats me like a celebrity. I'm a daughter and a sister first, and I want that to stay the same. My family keeps me grounded, and Ranveer and I want to pass on those values to our future children,” she added.
Moving on to her work, Deepika has been quite occupied lately. In 2023, she appeared in two major hit movies. She starred in 'Pathaan' alongside Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham, which earned over Rs 1000 crore. Additionally, she had a special role in 'Jawan' with Shah Rukh. Despite a smaller part, her performance had a significant impact on the audience.
Her upcoming project is 'Fighter,' directed by Siddharth Anand, who directed 'Pathaan.' In this film, Deepika will be sharing the screen with Hrithik Roshan for the first time. A few songs from the movie have already been released, and it's scheduled to hit theaters on January 25.
