CBI Imposter Arrested for Car Collision with Minister's Vehicle

An imposter pretending to be a CBI inspector was exposed and arrested after a car collision involving a Haryana minister's vehicle. The accused, Robin Singh, was driving an Innova car with a fake CBI number plate when it collided with the minister's Fortuner car on December 7, 2021. Singh chased the minister's vehicle to their residence, where he was apprehended by security personnel. He had a CBI sticker on his car and presented a fake CBI identification card. The incident was reported to the CBI, leading to Singh's arrest in June 2022. During the investigation, it was discovered that Singh's car was registered under the name of a CBI officer and parked at the CBI headquarters during the incident. The accused's Aadhar card, identity card, CBI ID card, and vehicle number plate were all found to be forged. After a year-long investigation, Singh was finally arrested for impersonating a CBI officer and was placed in judicial custody.
