Amitabh Bachchan shared a picture with the idol of Ram Lalla at the newly opened Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. He posted the photos on his blog and on a platform called X, previously known as Twitter. In the pictures, Amitabh is inside the temple, praying to the idol, dressed in a white kurta-pyjama with a shawl.
In his post, he wrote, “T 4899 – Bol Siya Pati Ramchandra Ki Jai”. On his blog, he wrote, “A day filled with the relevance of divine spirit... back from the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Ayodhya... the glory, the celebration, and the belief of faith... immersed in the reckoning of the temple at Shri Ram’s birth... not much can be said beyond this... for faith does not possess description... Can you..?”
After offering prayers, Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan met the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath. Amitabh greeted the political leader with folded hands and had a conversation with him before Abhishek joined.
The veteran star also interacted with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the event. It's reported that the Prime Minister asked about Amitabh's hand, which recently underwent surgery, among other things. A video of their interaction has become popular.
As part of the ceremony, the idol of Lord Ram Lalla was installed at the Ram Temple after the consecration ceremony on Monday. The construction of the temple is nearly complete, and many photos from the venue have started going viral. Various celebrities like Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, and Kangana Ranaut attended the grand temple inauguration.
