Air India recently shared its plans for the next six months. They're getting more than 30 new planes and adding over 400 flights each week. They'll also start flying to four new places abroad in North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
From October 29 to March 30 next year, they're putting in place a winter schedule for 2023. With all the new planes they're getting, they want to increase the number of weekly flights by more than 400. Out of those, over 80 new flights have already started.
Air India will be receiving new planes over the next six months, including six A350s, four B777s, and 20 A320 neos. This is part of a larger plan where they've ordered 470 new aircraft from Airbus and Boeing.
They haven't revealed the names of the new international destinations yet, but they will announce them soon. Air India is working on improving its fleet and services while also expanding its route network to meet the growing demand in the market, as stated by Air India CEO and MD Campbell Wilson.
