Ranbir Kapoor felt really touched when Mahesh Bhatt sent him a special message on Indian Idol. He was there with Rashmika Mandanna to talk about their new movie, Animal. During the show, out of the blue, Bhatt praised Ranbir a lot for being a great dad. He called him the 'best father in the world.'

Bhatt said, "Alia, who I think is amazing, says Ranbir is one of the best actors in our country. But I think Ranbir is the best father in the world. The way he looks at Raha (Ranbir and Alia’s daughter), it's just heartwarming. His mom, Neetu Kapoor, says, 'The love Ranbir has for Raha is something only a mother usually has for her daughters.' I'm proud to have a son-in-law like Ranbir."
Ranbir was moved by these words and said, “He never told me these things in person. So, thanks to Indian Idol for this. I’ve been approved by my father-in-law.”
Ranbir and Alia welcomed Raha in November 2022. Ranbir hasn't shown her face to the public yet. But he openly talks about her. Bobby Deol, in an event, revealed that Ranbir often video calls Raha and chats with her.

“He adores his daughter. She's grown a lot. The film started when his daughter was born, and now she’s one year old. The character he played in the movie has a lot of complexities, mirroring the growth of a child. Having his first child was a blessing for him. I think he should share more about it,” Bobby said.
Ranbir shared, “Raha is responding now, she’s making eye contact and blowing kisses. There’s no greater happiness. It's the most joyful thing in life. I highly recommend having lots of children to all of you.”
Presently, Ranbir is gearing up for his new movie Animal, releasing on December 1st. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
