Delhi Schools to Conduct Virtual Classes Until November 10 Due to Air Quality Issues

All government and primary schools in Delhi will be closed until November 10 due to bad air quality. Only students in grades 10 and 12 will continue with online classes. Teachers are required to conduct online classes from their schools. School principals must inform parents about these arrangements.

The air quality in Delhi has reached 'severe' levels before Diwali. The Education Minister, Aitishi, previously announced the closure of primary schools until November 10. Students in grades 6 to 12 will have the option to attend online classes. However, a recent directive from the education authority states that schools will remain closed for students up to class 9 and class 11.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has also ordered the closure of all government and private primary schools in the city on November 3 and 4 due to worsening air pollution. Preschool, pre-primary, and primary classes (Nursery to class V) will be held online on these days, and parents will be informed by school principals.
